American Wax Company was founded in New York City in 1929. During the 1990’s, in our second generation as a family owned business, we merged with three local manufacturers (Buckingham Wax Company, OSR Cleaning Specialties and Uncle Sam Chemical). In 2003 we added Nationwide Chemical to our family of companies. The senior members of these companies bring their vast experience and knowledge of our industry, to make us the preeminent source of sanitary maintenance chemicals. In 1998, we changed our name to American Cleaning Solutions to reflect the growth and changes in our business. Our 65,000 square foot building enables us to incorporate manufacturing, quality control & product development, graphic design, silk screening and customer service all in one facility. We have combined our multi-generational experience, formulating expertise and the business acumen of five private label manufacturers to become an industry leader of the 21st century.
